180° Excavator Backhoe & Bucket

On completion of the 180° Excavator Backhoe & Bucket (JCB) Course, the Trainee will have established theory and practical knowledge and skills in safe operations of this specific type of plant.

Attachment training can also be incorporated within this course but may affect the course duration depending upon the trainees experience.

It is advised for the operative to attend a cable avoidance assistance course to complement any excavator course to assist in the safe detection of underground services.

360° Excavator Operator (Tracked & Wheeled)

The 360° Excavator Operator Course is for tracked or wheeled excavators and, above and below 10 tonnes.

The course provides the Trainee with good knowledge and practical skills in the operations and limitations of a hydraulic excavator and safe use of quick hitch release systems.

It is advised that the Operative also attends a Cable Avoidance System Course to compliment any Excavator Course, to assist in safe detection of underground services.

Skid Steer Loader – Bob Cat

The Skid Steer Loader Course provides the Trainee with good theory and practical skills in limitations and operational practices.

On completion of the course, candidates are thoroughly aware that at the work place, stability and hazards are a consideration along with observation and safety awareness at all times.

Attachment Training

The Health & Safety Executives have laid down laws and guidelines so that employers, or the self-employed, receive adequate training for the purpose of health and safety.

Upon completion of the Attachment Training Course, operatives will have good knowledge of how to use attachments safely; the effects of stability; the dangers; how to detach and attach correctly and also, be assessed and tested in its use, with certification issued.

Syllabus

Attachments can and do affect the stability, handling and lifting capability of all plant machinery.

It is the understanding and safe use of the attachments that are affixed to specific plant types that make operatives competent and conscientious in their work duties.
Certificates of basic or specific training can be issued as individual courses.

Euro Training Services Limited automatically includes attachment training such as side shifts on fork lift trucks, quick hitch release systems on 360° excavators and hooks with slinging techniques for lorry mounted loaders. This is part of basic training for novice operatives.
